Pristine, one-owner Cobalt 220 for sale in Kelowna B.C. We are the original owners. If you're looking for a boat, you'll know that Cobalt is known for it's high-end luxury build quality. Our boat has very low hours (it's winterized under wrapping and I cannot recall the hours, but it's around 90 hours I think...). Boat has Black gelcoat with yellow accent line. White upholstery, snap-in sand-colored removable carpeting. Purchased the boat new in January 2009 from dealership. The boat is 22ft long (24ft long with swim grid).
This boat has every available option at the time of purchase. 496 c.i. Big Block Chevy V8 engine (yes, that's a 496 Big Block, not a 396!!). 425 HP chevy engine. Volvo duo-prop stern drive. Cobalt Sport Boats tandem axle trailer. This is one of the fasted boats on the lake, and cruises very comfortably at 55mph... and tops out around 65 to 70mph depending upon water conditions and prop selection. When simply cruising around, this boat sips fuel very economically on account of the big block engine not having to work very hard to keep it moving. I'm sure it's more fuel efficient than smaller V8s that have to work much harder to accomplish the same speeds.
The Cobalt is a full bowrider, with lots of storage. LED lighting throughout. 2 years ago we installed a $4,000 Polk Audio Marine grade stereo system that sounds incredible. Upgraded military grade AGM Optima batteries for dependable on-the-water performance (for stereo etc...). Completely clean history with no accidents or damage to boat or trailer. Boat has the Cobalt Kevlar re-inforced hull for exceptional strength and long-term durability. Best hull on the market. Boat has a power lifted rear storage/engine hatch, auto bilge system, and retractable ski/tow bar, built-in ice cooler. We've never used the boat for fishing.
Boat has been used solely on fresh water and never seen salt water. We store the boat at our residence, so there's never been any green scum build-up on the hull as other boats get when stored in the lake. We only use our boat 5 to 7 times per season for family outings. We do not beach our boat, so the hull has no scratches.
This Cobalt 220 has a bimini top, and full canvass cover as well. It has a water level swim grid that makes getting in & out of the water exceptionally easy, as the platform is at water level (not too high like other boats).
We are selling the boat only because we have purchased a cabin property and a new fishing boat. Unfortunately, our Cobalt will be sitting idle for much of the season, so it doesn't make any sense for us to keep it. Original list price on our Cobalt with all it's options and trailer was around $83,000.
